This Dufour 34E Performance was built in 2008 to 2009 specifications. It is a great cruising yacht with very good sea-keeping qualities. It benefits from 7 berths in 3 cabins with a single Heads. This Dufour 34E Performance benefits from a 265 Litre fresh water, a 45 Litre holding tank, Raymarine and B+G navigation equipment with electronic charts, AIS and a Volvo D130 Diesel engine that was last serviced in 2024.


The vessel was last out of the water in April 2025 when the anodes were replaced, saildrive gaiter was replaced, and she was re-antifouled. The current owners have enjoyed and maintained the vessel since 2009 and have been the only owners in the vessel's history. The current owners are looking to sell the vessel as they are looking to downsize.

Accommodation :

This well-crafted Dufour 34E Performance provides accommodation for seven across three cabins, including the saloon.


The forward cabin features a generous V-shaped double berth, with storage beneath the bed and shelving along each side. Additional storage is offered by a starboard-side wardrobe and a cupboard to port. An overhead deck hatch in the forepeak allows for both ventilation and natural light.


The saloon comprises a central dining table flanked by settees to port and starboard, both of which offer under-seat storage and overhead lockers running along the sides.


These settees also easily convert into two single berths.


To port, the galley includes a double stainless-steel sink with pressurised hot and cold water, a two-burner gas hob complete with oven and grill, a 12-volt refrigerator, and ample storage throughout. The boat is equipped with a 265-litre freshwater tank and a 45-litre holding tank for added convenience.


Positioned to starboard is the forward-facing navigation station, ideally suited for full-sized nautical charts. Beneath the chart table is ample room for chart storage, alongside housing for navigation instruments and the electrical control panel.


Just aft of the navigation area is the heads compartment, featuring a stainless-steel sink set in a vanity unit, pressurised hot and cold water with a shower attachment, an integrated shower tray, marine toilet, and a mirror. Hot water is provided by an engine-driven immersion heater.


At the aft end of the saloon on the port side lies the second double cabin, which offers under-berth storage, hanging space, and side shelving. A single opening portlight into the cockpit provides light and ventilation.


This Dufour 34E Performance is fitted with an Eberspächer diesel heater, distributing warmth to the main saloon, the owner’s cabin, and the guest cabin. A radio/CD player is also installed in the saloon for entertainment.


Access to the spacious aft cockpit is via the companionway. For a yacht of this size, it offers generous seating around the wheel steering column, which is equipped with a compass, depth sounder, wind speed and direction instruments, and engine controls conveniently placed at the helm.

This Dufour 34 Performance is a Fractional Bermudan sloop rig, with a deck-stepped 2008 aluminium mast and boom with stainless steel standing rigging, which was replaced in April 2025. The running rigging lines have been replaced when needed in 2009, 2012 and 2024.


This vessel has a furling headsail and a slab reefing mainsail with lazy Jacks, stack pack, spinnaker pole, and manual backstay adjuster.

Mechanical Systems:


This Dufour 34 Performance has a single 2009, 30HP Volvo D130 diesel engine with 1400hrs as of the 22nd of April 2025. This engine is powering a saildrive with a three-bladed KIWI feathering propeller. last serviced in 2022 with new blades fitted. The saildrive gaiter was last replaced in February 2025 and the engine was last serviced by the owner in November 2024.


The engine is supplied by a 90-litre plastic fuel tank with Morse controls. This yacht will achieve a cruising speed of 6 knots and a maximum speed of 8 knots.


Electrical Systems:


4 x 12-volt batteries (1 x engine, 12v, 90Ah replaced in 2023 + 2 x Domestic, 12V, 90Ah replaced in 2023 + 1 x Anchor Winch, 12V replaced in 2019.)


These batteries are charged by the engine alternator and a battery charger when connected to the 240v shore power. This Dufour 34e Performance also benefits from a 240-volt ring main throughout the vessel, along with an immersion heater. A battery management system all of which ensures optimal performance of the electrical setup onboard.
