Twin fuel filters (2012)
NPG gel-coat with first solid laminate impregnated with NPG resin ensuring excellent osmosis barrier. Hand laid GRP hull with PVC foam core and vacuum-bagged above waterline. Deck in balsa core sandwich.
Shoal draft cast iron keel.
Semi-eliptic rudder filled with closed cell foam and mounted on self-aligning bearings.
All joinery in Khaya Mahogany and molded surrounds in solid wood. Cabin soles in plywood laminated on both sides; teak striped.
Hull was stripped back to gel coating 2011 and 6 coats of Gelshield applied.
All skin fittings were replaced with bronze also in 2011.
8 double berths in 3 cabins - including saloon that converts using table.
Saloon area features U-shaped settee to starboard with good sized table and built-in bottle stowage. Seating with washable covers and plenty of stowage under, behind and above. Fixed port-light on coachroof side.
Navigation station to starboard with decent sized chart table with shelving and cupboards and good access to panel and instrumentation. Flexible chart reading light and red night light above.Navigators seat with stowage under. Book shelf,set of drawers and cupboard under. Access to domestic batteries. Wet locker aft of nav station.
Galley is to port and linear with top loading 150l fridge with ice box, two-burner stainless steel gimbaled gas stove with oven. Laminated work with fiddle. Double stainless steel sinks with pressurised hot and cold water. Plenty of stowage space with lockers and shelves. Fixed port-light on coachroof side.
The aft head compartment is also to port and just aft of the galley. It features a separate shower stall with tap and shower fitting, manual marine toilet, washbasin with laminated counter top and mirror. Sole with grating and deckhead light. Opening port-light on coachroof side. Jabsco toilet pump replaced in 2018.
The forecabin offers a good-sized double berth (200cm long) with high density foam mattress (new in 2008) with washable covers. Stowage under berth and on shelves, with hanging locker and shelf to port.
Second heads to starboard by forecabin with black water tank. Jabsco toilet pump also replaced in 2018.
Both double aft cabins are almost identical with 190cm berths, foam mattresses with washable covers. Double hanging locker with shelf above. Shelf on hull side and opening port-lights on coachroof sides. Additional side access to engine from both aft cabins.
All cushion covers and curtains replaced in 2008.
