This 50ft flat bottomed barge has 14ft beam with low draft and has been designed and built as an accommodation unit. The barge is a perfect addition to a waterfront hotel/inn to extend accommodation or as a home business if you have waterfrontage at your own property and are looking for an additional income. Running a bed and breakfast from your own property would be easy with this barge. It features 2 king size en suite bedrooms with wet rooms and an additional larger room with wet room which features a king size bed and a standard double cabin bed which can easily sleep 4 adults, with a total accommodation of 8 berths.
All the systems are 240v electric, hot and cold stored water and a separate waste tank into which the 3 macerator toilets pump. The waste tank features a solids pump on a float switch that pumps out and can be installed into mains sewerage.
The barge is currently moored on the grand union canal at a hotel/restaurant and is being used for its intended purpose. It was transported from the Thames to be fitted out and could just as easily be returned to the Thames, alterations could be made for it to easily suit a mooring on any river/canal system.
Boat safety until 2022. No gas on board, no 12v system.
